Singer arrested with drugs worth Tk1cr

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested a singer with crystal meth ice worth Tk 1 crore.

He was arrested from Matir Masjid area at Malibag in the capital on Friday (April 26) evening.

The name of the arrested singer is Enamul Kabir Rubel. He was a member of popular singer Azam Khan's band, said police sources.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADC) of Khilgaon Zone of Motijheel Division Rashed told the media that the value of seized crystal meth ice is Tk 1 crore.

Details in this regard will be provided at a press conference at Rampura Police Station on Saturday (April 27) afternoon.
