'Smart Children Carnival 2023' starts tomorrow

The first ever world-class "Smart Children Carnival 2023" in the history of the country is set to start from Wednesday.

The Department of Information and Communication Technology took the initiative to create smart generation with human qualities inspired by patriotism, innovation, creativity and non-communal spirit.

President Md. Sahabuddin will officially inaugurate the carnival as the chief guest at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy Auditorium at 11 am on Wednesday.

State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak gave this information in a press conference at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy today.

The state minister said that on the first, second and third day, Shilpakala Academy will have digital animated painting display for children from 11 am to 8 pm in 10 zones where gaming and quiz competition, story presentation, reading, animated giant book exhibition through video mapping will be available. Besides, performance, Ranpa, Giant Game, Riding Zone, Immersive Digital Environment are also organized.

Children can take free entry to the event. On the fourth and concluding day Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will be present as the chief guest on September 30.

Palak said that Bangabandhu used to say that if we want to build 'Sonar Bangla', we need virtuous people.

The main objective of the carnival is to turn every person virtuous motivated by patriotism, progressiveness , creative, non-sectarian spirit.
