Son kills mother in Bogura, stored her body in deep freezer

A woman's body was found with her hands tied up inside a deep freezer of her house in Dupchanchia upazila of Bogura. She was strangled to death and the body was hidden there. Wide discussion started throughout the district about this murder. Finally, the investigation revealed the mystery of the murder. It was his son who brutally killed her.

Company commander of Bogura RAB camp Md Ehteshamul Haque Khan told this information at a press briefing at his office on Tuesday (November 12) at noon.

The name of the deceased woman is Umm Salma Khatun (50). She is the wife of Azizur Rahman in Jaipurpara area of ​​Dupchanchi.

Salma was killed on Sunday (November 10). His son Saad Bin Azizur Rahman (19) has been arrested on the charge of killing her. Saad is a student of Darussunnah Kamil Madrasa. He was arrested from Panchpir Arobari area of ​​Kahalu Upazila of Bogura on Monday midnight.

RAB said that Saad Bin killed his mother without getting the money as required. Before this, he often quarreled with his mother over money. He often stole Tk 500-1000 stolen from the house. His mother used to argue with him about the matter. On the morning of the incident, Saad bin went to the madrasa. Later he returned home around 12:30 pm. At that time his mother Salma was preparing lunch. Saad grabbed his mother's nose and mouth from behind and started beating her. Meanwhile, Saad Bin used all his strength to hold Salma's nose and mouth and strangled her to death. Later, he tied Salma's two hands with a veil and put the body in the deep freezer and put the lid on it. Saad bin made a few cuts on the cupboard with an ax to make the murder look like a robbery. Later he locked the gate of the house and left. Shortly after that, he entered the house again and told his father on the mobile phone that Salma could not be found. When Azizur Rahman came home, Saad Bin pretended to look for his mother with him. At one point, he opened the lid of the deep freezer and took out his mother's body. Saad Bin tried to explain the incident as robbery.

RAB officer Md Ehteshamul Haque Khan said that Saad Bin's behavior seems suspicious. Later, he confessed to the murder at a stage of arrest and interrogation. He has been handed over to Dupchanchia police station for legal action.
