Standard Bank holds annual business conference 2025

The annual business conference-2025 of Standard Bank PLC. was held on 11 January 2025, Saturday at Radisson Blu Water Garden, Dhaka with the slogan titled 'Year of Consolidation: Build Future Together'.

Chairman of the Bank Mohammed Abdul Aziz inaugurated the ceremony as chief guest while A KM Abdul Alim, Vice Chairman of the Bank was the special guest. Directors Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed, Kamal Mostafa Chowdhury, Ashok Kumar Saha, Ferozur Rahman, S.A.M. Hossain, Al-haj Mohammed Shamsul Alam, Gulzar Ahmed, Md. Zahedul Hoque, Ferdous Ali Khan and Md. Abul Hossain were present as Guests of Honor on the occasion.

Md. Habibur Rahman, Managing Director & CEO of the bank chaired the conference. Dr. Muhammad Saifullah, Chairman & Prof. Dr. Zubair Mohammad Ehsanul Hoque, Member Secretary of Shari'ah Supervisory Committee: Md. Siddiqur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director & COO; Md. Mizanur Rahman, FCS, Company Secretary; Heads of all branches & Senior Executives of Head Office were also present in the conference.

Mohammed Abdul Aziz, in his address; expressed his satisfaction and congratulated all employees for the remarkable success achieved by the bank in the year 2024. With the aim to contribute to business growth & economic development of Bangladesh, he called upon all for performing collaboratively to keep up the progress of the bank through complying with Shari'ah and providing best services using state of the art technology.
