To counter the Awami League's scheduled program, students and the public have taken positions at Zero Point in capital's Gulistan and the party's office. Since Sunday morning (November 10), their presence has been noticed at the location. BNP leaders and activists are also there.

Around 8.00am, on the occasion of Shaheed Noor Hossain Day, his family members paid tribute by laying flowers at Zero Point. Following this, people from various walks of life began to gather and pay their respects.

Meanwhile, to prevent any disorder related to the program, police officers with armored vehicles and water cannons are on alert in front of Noor Hossain Square in Gulistan and the Awami League’s central office. There is an increased presence of police at Zero Point and on various street corners in the capital compared to normal days.

Earlier, on November 9, the Awami League's verified Facebook page announced a protest march at 3 PM on November 10, calling on its supporters to gather at Zero Point.

In response, BNP, the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, and other parties and organizations began their sit-in in Gulistan on Saturday evening to counter the Awami League's program.
