Swechchha Sebak League leader hacked to death in Jhalkathi

Miscreants allegedly hacked to death a Swechasebak League leader in Jhalakathi's Nalchity upazila on Sunday night. The incident occurred at Chauddaburia village under Siddhakathi union at around 10.00 pm.

The deceased was identified as Kazi Fuad, 40, the President of Siddhakathi Union Swechasebak League.

According to locals, a gang of miscreants hacked Kazi Fuad to death with sharp weapons on the ground of a primary school in front of his house and ran away.

Confirming the news, Nalchity Police Station officer-in-charge Murad Ali, said, "Miscreants fatally attacked Kazi Fuad, prompting a police response at the scene. Legal action will be taken in this regard."
