Television scroll required for any disruption in services, including electricity and metro rail

If there is any disruption in services, including electricity and metro rail, it must be announced via a television scroll. This directive was issued by the adviser in charge of the relevant ministries, Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan.
On Sunday, an official notice was issued stating that metro rail services were temporarily disrupted on Saturday, and there was a blackout in the Khulna region. In both instances, the secretaries of the concerned ministries or the heads of the agencies did not inform the adviser. The adviser became aware of these issues through social media.
In response, a notice from the adviser’s office stated that any disruption in customer or passenger services must be immediately communicated via a television scroll. Once the services are restored, this must also be announced along with an apology for the incident. The notice further stated, "It must be remembered that customer and passenger services are not a favor, but a responsibility."
Sources from the Ministry of Road Transport reported that the adviser, Fawzul Kabir Khan, expressed dissatisfaction over the response of the concerned departments to the metro rail and electricity disruptions. Additionally, the advisor sought an explanation as to why the issue was not communicated to the passengers and why an apology was not issued. The directive has been given to avoid such situations in the future.
