Temperature drops to 10.3 degrees Celsius in Panchgarh
Panchagarh has recorded the lowest temperature in the country this season. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature was recorded at 10.3 degrees Celsius at 9 am on Thursday (December 14). Earlier, the temperature was 10.5 degrees Celsius at 6 am. It is the lowest temperature of the season.
On this day, apart from Panchagarh, the temperature of some regions has dropped to 10 to 11 degrees. According to the morning information of the Meteorological Office, the temperature was 10.6 in Dinajpur, 10.8 in Chuadanga, 11.5 in Ishwardi and Dimla, 11.6 in Badalgachi, 11.7 in Mymensingh, 11.8 degrees in Nikli and Jessore and 11 degrees Celsius in Syedpur, Rajshahi and Rajarhat.
Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department recorded the minimum temperature of Dhaka this morning at 14.6 degrees Celsius. Earlier on Wednesday (December 13) it was 16.5 degrees Celsius.
In this regard, meteorologist Md. Bajlur Rashid told the media, "The trend of decreasing night temperature is seen. Districts where temperatures are borderline may come under mild cold front. However, the cold spell does not seem to last more than a day or two. The temperature will start to rise only after this effect is over.
Bazlur Rashid said, "Dhaka's temperature may drop by 1.5 to 1 degree Celsius in the next 72 hours. The temperature will rise again from Sunday.
