Tigresses complete whitewash against Ireland

Bangladesh women's cricket team whitewashed Ireland, winning the third and final match by 7 wickets at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur on Monday (December 2).

Ireland Women won the toss and elected to bat first. Bangladesh's superb bowling performance dismissed Ireland for 185 runs. Gaby Lewis scored 52, Orla Prendergast contributed 27, and captain Amy Hunter made 23 runs. For Bangladesh, Fahima Khatun took 3 wickets, while Sultana Khatun and Nahida Akter each claimed 2 wickets.

Chasing a target of 186, Bangladesh lost Murshida Khatun early. However, Fargana Hoque and Sharmin Akhter built a strong 143-run partnership for the second wicket. Fargana Hoque scored 61, while Sharmin Akhter made 72. Nigar Sultana remained not out on 18 runs. Aimee Maguire took 2 wickets for Ireland.
