Tofazzal murder: 6 DU students confess involvement

Six Dhaka University students, arrested for the killing of Tofazzal Hossain in their hall on Wednesday, confessed to their involvement in the crime in front of a magistrate.

They were brought to the courtroom around 11.00 am on Friday (September 20), where they made a confessional statement.

After Tofazzal was killed, the university administration reported the case to the Shahbag police station. Soon after, six students involved in the murder were arrested.

The students who made confessional statements are - Muhammad Jalal Mia of physics department, Suman Mia of soil, water and environment; Mottakin Shakin of the Institute of Nutrition and Food Science; Ahsanullah of mathematics; Al Hussain Sajjad and Wajibul Alam of geography and environment departments.
