The tourist centres of Goainghat upazila were opened on Sunday morning. Later on the same day, Sadapathar of Companiganj upazila and Lalakhal of Jaintapur upazila were opened for tourists.

Flash floods have occurred in Goainghat, Jaintapur, Companiganj and Kanighat upazilas of Sylhet due to incessant rain in the last a few days. Most of the lower areas of those upazilas have been flooded as a result many roads are submerged causing traffic disruption.
