AstraZeneca vaccination will continue: Health minister
At a time when AstraZeneca is withdrawing its covid vaccine from the market admitting that it has ‘dangerous’ side effects, Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Samant Lal Sen has said that the AstraZeneca vaccination programme will continue in Bangladesh as no harmful symptoms have been found among the people who received the vaccine in the country so far.
Health Minister issues warning to doctors absent from work
Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Samanta Lal Sen on Saturday said, "My only directive is to improve healthcare at the grassroots level. I have informed all members of the health ministry, including the Director-General, about the reasons for doctors' absence from work. Areas where doctors were absent have already been addressed, and appropriate actions are being taken. Additionally, I am closely monitoring the performance of active personnel to ensure they are fulfilling their duties effectively."
