Inter Services Public Relation Directorate (ISPR) has urged all not to be misguided by rumours spreading through social media over the security of St. Martin’s island centering Myanmar's ongoing internal conflict near the island.

Gas reserve discovered in Kailashtila-8 well
Gas reserves have been found after drilling Kailashtila-8 well at the Kailashtila gas field in Sylhet. Gas has been found at a depth of 3,438 to 3,447 metres. An estimated 21 million cubic feet of gas per day will be added to the national grid from this well.
