Bangladesh has 56 out of 100 eco-friendly factories in the world. The number of green factories in the country has increased to 218 as another factory in the country recently obtained the prestigious ‘LEED’ certificate, says a Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) press release sent to the media on Wednesday (May 29).
