Torres' hat-trick sends Barcelona to semifinals with 5-0 victory

Barcelona put on an impressive display on Thursday night in the Copa del Rey quarterfinals, thrashing Valencia 5-0. Ferran Torres netted a hat-trick, while Fermín López and Lamine Yamal scored the other two goals.

Earlier, Barcelona had defeated Valencia 7-1 in La Liga, bringing their total goals scored against Valencia in two matches to 12.

Following the dominant victory, Torres reflected on the match, saying, "We knew this would be a tough game because Mestalla is always a difficult place to play. Luckily, we scored early, and that set the tone for their downfall."

Barcelona coach Flick said, "As I have said before, there are no second chances in the quarterfinals. We played really well, staying focused from the start, creating chances, and converting them. That was crucial to our success."
