Two motorcyclists killed in Bogura road crush

At least two motorcyclists died after being hit by a sand-carrying truck in Bogura.

The accident took place at Ranirhat area in ​ ​ Natore-Bogura highway around 11:30pm on Friday (October 18) .

The deceased were identified as Apel and Palash from the Gandagram of Shajahanpur upazila.

Wadud Alam, officer in charge of Shajahanpur police station, confirmed the matter.

He said, "The victims were heading toward Natore when the truck struck them in the Ranirhat area of the Natore-Bogra highway, resulting in their death at the scene."

"Their bodies have been handed over to relatives following legal procedures," he added.
