Uganda equal lowest ever T20 World Cup score
Uganda created history by clinching victory against Papua New Guinea in their second match of the ongoing World Cup. However, their performance took a downturn in the third match, as the team ended up setting a regrettable record.
During the 2014 T20 World Cup match, the Netherlands faced a crushing defeat, being bowled out for just 39 runs against Sri Lanka in Chittagong. This marked the lowest team total in T20 World Cup history. Uganda also suffered the same fate as the Dutch, sharing this unfortunate record. They were bowled out for 39 runs against the West Indies on Sunday.
At the Providence Stadium in Guyana, the Windies set a formidable target of 174 runs for Uganda. However, Uganda's run chase fell short as they were bowled out for just 39 runs. The Caribbean team clinched a resounding victory, triumphing by a staggering margin of 134 runs. Left-arm spinner Akil Akeal Hosein shone for the West Indies, claiming 5 wickets for 11 runs.
