UK to support judiciary reform: Sarah Cook

British High Commissioner to Dhaka Sarah Cook has said that the UK will support the reform of the judiciary in Bangladesh.

"Whatever is necessary will be done for it," she said while talking to reporters after a 45-minute meeting with Chief Justice Syed Refat Ahmed on Thursday.

Sarah Cook said, "Bangladesh's judiciary needs several reforms. UK wants to work closely on the issue. A fruitful discussion was held with Chief Justice Syed Refat Ahmed. We want to work together in the future."
