During US President Donald Trump's ongoing visit to Saudi Arabia, the two countries have agreed to a massive $100 billion arms deal.

Under the deal, Saudi Arabia will buy a variety of military equipment and weapons from the United States. It also includes important military equipment such as radar systems and transport aircraft.

The United States has long been a major supplier of weapons to Saudi Arabia. However, in 2021, the Joe Biden administration suspended arms sales to the country, expressing concerns about Saudi Arabia's role in the Yemen war.

In addition, the murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi has also damaged relations between the two countries. According to US intelligence agencies, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman approved the murder. Although Saudi Arabia has always denied this allegation.
