Youth has no alternative to remove social inequalities: Mirza Fakhrul

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that the young generation can remove all inequalities and bring about revolutionary changes in the country at all levels. Youth has no alternative to remove all social inequalities.

He made the observations while talking to reporters after attending the grand reunion of Dhaka College at Dhalis Amber Resort in Sirajdikhan upazila of Munshiganj on Friday (January 17) afternoon.

Alamgir said, "The young generation is now much more involved in technology. They know a lot, but this knowledge is never-ending. For this reason, the young generation must give importance to education. If they are properly developed, Bangladesh in the future will change."

While reminiscing about Dhaka College, he said, "I studied at Dhaka College. I met many friends from Dhaka College here today who were my classmates during my studies in the 1963-65 batch. I am proud to be a student of Dhaka College.”

The event, chaired by Mir Sharafat Ali Sapu, convener of the Dhaka College Grand Reunion Organising Committee and General Secretary of the Swechchhasebak Dal, was also addressed by Shafiq Rehman, Home Affairs Adviser Lieutenant General (Retd) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Bangladesh Bank Governor Ahsan H Mansur, and former students of the college.
