Energy Adviser deposits gifted boat in government treasury

Mr Muhammad Fauzul Kabir Khan, Adviser to the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, has deposited a boat gifted to him by Mr Abdelwahab Seldani, the Ambassador of Algeria to Dhaka, in the government treasury. The gift was presented during the celebration of the 71st anniversary of the Algerian Revolution on November 1, 2025.

On November 2, 2025, Mr Khan posted on his official Facebook page seeking advice on what to do with the gifted boat. Later, he deposited the boat in the government treasury.

In another post on Facebook that afternoon, Energy Adviser Mr Muhammad Fauzul Kabir Khan stated, “The gift received from the Algerian Embassy last night has been sent to the government treasury for safekeeping via the Cabinet Secretary. A receipt has been issued by the Cabinet Secretary’s office for this purpose. Thank you all for your opinions.”
