A team of detective branch (DB) of police detained Moin Abdullah, the son of former chief whip Abul Hasanat Abdullah, in the Gulshan area. Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, confirmed the matter. The DB arrested him from a house during a raid around 3:30am today (October 26). He said, "Moin Abdullah, who is also a paternal cousin of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, faces multiple charges stemming from cases filed in various police stations in Barishal."

সাবেক চিফ হুইপ আবুল হাসানাত আবদুল্লাহর ছেলে মঈন আবদুল্লাহকে গ্রেপ্তার করেছে গোয়েন্দা পুলিশ (ডিবি)। শনিবার (২৬ অক্টোবর) ভোররাতে রাজধানীর গুলশানের একটি বাসায় অভিযান চালিয়ে তাকে গ্রেপ্তার করে ডিবি। ঢাকা মহানগর পুলিশের উপকমিশনার (মিডিয়া) তালেবুর রহমান জানান, সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনার ফুফাতো ভাইয়ের ছেলে মঈন আবদুল্লাহর বিরুদ্ধে বরিশালের বিভিন্ন থানায় একাধিক মামলা রয়েছে।
