An explosion was reported beneath the Motijheel Metro Station in the capital on Friday evening, triggering panic among people in the area. The incident occurred at around 7:15 pm, according to initial reports. Soon after the blast, police rushed to the scene, cordoned off the area and brought the situation under control.
