A notice circulating on social media claiming that the HSC and equivalent examinations under the Chattogram Education Board will be held on July 27 as per a previously scheduled timetable is completely fake and misleading, the Inter-Education Board Exam Controller Committee announced.

In an urgent public notice issued, the committee stated that neither the Inter-Education Board Exam Controller Committee nor the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Chattogram, has any connection to the notice being spread using their name on Tuesday. No such decision has been taken by the relevant authorities.

The public notice highlighted that the information circulating on social media is entirely untrue, motivated, and an attempt to create public confusion. Consequently, candidates, guardians, teachers, heads of educational institutions, center secretaries, and all concerned have been urged not to be misled by such rumors.

Authorities further informed that any schedule, administrative decision, or new instructions regarding the HSC and equivalent examinations are published exclusively on the official websites and verified Facebook pages of the Ministry of Education, the Inter-Education Board Exam Controller Committee, and the respective education boards.

For this reason, the Inter-Education Board requested everyone not to believe or share any information found on social media without verification, while also appealing to the public to refrain from spreading fake information and rumors in the public interest.
