Fakhrul, Khasru, Zaima attends National Prayer Breakfast

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Standing Committee Member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury and acting chairperson Tarique Rahman's daughter Barrister Zaima Rahman attended the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC, on Thursday.

Zaima Rahman, granddaughter of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman and former prime minister Begum Khaleda Zia, immersed herself in the international arena by attending the traditional event as a representative of her father, reports BSS.

Prominent figures from the political, social, diplomatic, business and cultural spheres of different countries had been invited to the event, which began at 7am and lasted for 7 hours.

This event is usually held on the first Thursday of February. In addition to US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance, the event was attended by senators and members of Congress, as well as invited world leaders and business and professional figures.
