Farooki out of danger after health scare says Tisha

Cultural Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki is currently in stable condition after being hospitalized due to a sudden illness during an official visit to Cox’s Bazar, according to a statement from his wife, actress Nusrat Imroz Tisha.

Farooki fell ill on Saturday night while attending a ministry workshop. He received initial treatment from local doctors under the supervision of the civil surgeon before being airlifted to Dhaka for further medical care. Doctors have attributed his condition to excessive work pressure.

Tisha confirmed via social media that Farooki is now out of danger and undergoing treatment in Dhaka.

Farooki had arrived in Cox's Bazar on Friday, August 15, for a four-day official visit. His schedule included participation in programmes related to the establishment of the Cultural Hub and the installation of the July Memorial. According to Cox’s Bazar Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Imran Hossain Shojib, all remaining programmes have been canceled following the incident.

Farooki continues to receive medical attention, and updates on his recovery are expected in the coming days.
