Fazlur Rahman falls ill on way to Tarique Rahman’s rally

BNP-nominated candidate for Kishoreganj-4 Itna–Mithamain–Austagram constituency, Advocate Fazlur Rahman, fell ill while travelling to attend a public rally of Tarique Rahman.

He developed breathing difficulties on Thursday afternoon while travelling from his home area in Itna to Bhairab. He was later rushed to Jahurul Islam Medical College Hospital in Bhagalpur, Bajitpur upazila of Kishoreganj, where he is currently undergoing treatment.

The matter was confirmed from the stage of the rally at Bhairab Stadium ground in the evening by BNP Mymensingh divisional organising secretary and Kishoreganj district BNP president Md Shariful Alam.

He said Advocate Fazlur Rahman suddenly experienced breathing problems while on his way to the rally and was immediately taken to hospital, where he remains under medical supervision.
