February 11 declared public holiday

Chief Adviser’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has said that February 11 (Wednesday) will be observed as a public holiday in view of the 13th Jatiya Sangsad election.

He disclosed the information at a press conference held at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital on Thursday (January 22).

The press secretary said that the Advisory Council meeting approved the proposal to declare February 11 (Wednesday) a public holiday. For workers in industrial areas, the holiday will be observed on February 10 and 11.
