Final voter list for national election to be published on Nov 18

The Election Commission (EC) will publish the final voter list for the 13th National Parliamentary Election on November 18, according to official sources.

In a letter sent to field-level election officers, EC Senior Assistant Secretary Md. Nasir Uddin Chowdhury outlined the timeline for voter list activities. The draft list will be made public on November 1. The deadline for filing claims, objections, and correction applications is set for November 16, with all disputes scheduled to be resolved by November 17. The final, updated voter list will be released the following day.

As per the latest data, the total number of registered voters in the country stands at 126,307,594. Of them, 64,010,455 are male voters, 62,205,819 are female, and 1,230 are listed as third gender.

The publication of the final voter list is a key step in the lead-up to the national election, which is expected to be held in the coming months.
