Fire at Ashulia garment factory brought under control

A fire that broke out at a garment factory named Ayesha Garments in Ashulia of Savar, has been brought under control.

The blaze was doused around 2:05pm on Monday (October 6) after six units of the Fire Service worked for nearly two hours.

The fire originated around 12:15pm at the factory located opposite Fantasy Kingdom in Jamgora. Initially, three units from the Zirabo Fire Station responded, later joined by four more from the DEPZ station as the flames spread.

According to Fire Service Station Officer Md. Talha Bin Jasim, no casualties have been reported so far. The extent of the damage is yet to be determined, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
