A fire has broken out at a blanket factory on the fifth floor of a multi-storey building in Kadamtali, Chattogram. Seven units of the Fire Service are working to bring the blaze under control. The incident occurred at around 1:30 pm on Monday, 24 November, in the Kadamtali Pora Mosque area under Kotwali Police Station. Alamgir Hossain, Deputy Assistant Director of Agrabad Fire Station, said that upon receiving information about a fire at a blanket warehouse, the Fire Service rushed to the scene. Seven units are currently working to control the blaze. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage will be determined later.

চট্টগ্রামের কদমতলীতে একটি বহুতল ভবনের ৫ম তলায় কম্বল কারখানায় অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে কাজ করছে ফায়ার সার্ভিসের ৭টি ইউনিট। সোমবার (২৪ নভেম্বর) দুপুর দেড়টার দিকে নগরের কোতয়ালী থানাধীন কদমতলী পোড়া মসজিদ এলাকায় এ অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটে। আগ্রাবাদ ফায়ার স্টেশনের উপ সহকারী পরিচালক আলমগীর হোসেন জানান, একটি কম্বলের গুদামে অগ্নিকাণ্ডের খবর পেয়ে ফায়ার সার্ভিস ঘটনাস্থলে যায়। আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে ৭টি ইউনিট কাজ করছে। আগুন লাগার কারণ ও ক্ষয়ক্ষতির পরিমাণ পরে জানা যাবে।
