An incident of fire occurred at Suleiman Tower in Chakbazar in the capital. Later, six units of the fire service brought the fire under control within an hour of efforts. A fire broke out on the ground floor of the sixth-story building at 9am on Saturday, said fire service sources. On information, the fire service rushed to the spot at 9am. Six units from Lalbagh, Polashi Barrack, and Siddikbazar Fire Stations worked to control the fire. They successfully brought the fire under control by 9:50am.

রাজধানীর চকবাজারে সোলায়মান টাওয়ারে অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। পরে ফায়ার সার্ভিসের ৬টি ইউনিটের পৌনে এক ঘণ্টার চেষ্টায় আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে আসে। শনিবার (২০ জানুয়ারি) সকাল ৯টার দিকে ৬তলা ভবনটির নিচ তলায় আগুন লাগে। ফায়ার সার্ভিস থেকে জানানো হয়েছে, সকাল ৮টা ৫৯ মিনিটে অগ্নিকাণ্ডের খবর পেয়ে তারা ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছায় ৯টা ৫ মিনিটে। লালবাগ, পলাশী ব্যারাক ও সিদ্দিকবাজার ফায়ার স্টেশনের ৬টি ইউনিট আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে কাজ করে। পরে ৯টা ৫০ মিনিটে আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে আসে।
