Fire breaks out at 10-storey building in Mirpur
A fire broke out at a 10-storey building in Mirpur Section 11.5 of the capital.
According to Fire Service officials, the incident was reported at 11:12pm on Tuesday (10 February). Two firefighting units were immediately dispatched to the scene and brought the blaze under control.
Duty Officer Shahjahan Islam of the Fire Service control room said the units responded promptly after receiving information about the fire at the multi-storey building.
The cause of the fire and any possible casualties could not be confirmed immediately. Authorities said an investigation is underway and further details will be disclosed later.
