Fire breaks out at chemical warehouse in Mirpur

A fire broke out at a garments factory and chemical warehouse in the Shialbari area of Rupnagar, Mirpur, on Tuesday. Five units of the Fire Service are currently working to control the blaze, while three more units are on their way.

According to the Fire Service, the emergency call came in at 11:40 am, and the first unit arrived at the scene by 11:56 am.

Talha Bin Jasim, a media officer at the Fire Service headquarters, confirmed the incident, stating, “Upon receiving the news of the fire, five units were immediately dispatched to the site, with three additional units en route.”

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage have not yet been determined. There are no reports of casualties at this time.
