A fire broke out on the seventh floor of the 15-story Green Life Hospital on Green Road in Dhaka on Wednesday morning (April 8). Two units were immediately dispatched to the scene after the blaze was reported at 11:42am, according to Duty Officer Rafi Al Faruk of the Fire Service control room. The teams are currently working to bring the fire under control, he said. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, and authorities say there have been no reports of casualties or significant damage so far.

রাজধানীর গ্রিন লাইফ হাসপাতালে অগ্নিকাণ্ডের ঘটনা ঘটেছে। বুধবার (৮ এপ্রিল) সকালে হাসপাতালটির ১৫ তলা ভবনের সপ্তম তলায় আগুন লাগে। ফায়ার সার্ভিসের নিয়ন্ত্রণ কক্ষের ডিউটি অফিসার রাফি আল ফারুক জানান, সকাল ১১টা ৪২ মিনিটে আগুনের খবর পাওয়ার পরপরই ঘটনাস্থলে দুটি ইউনিট পাঠানো হয়। তিনি আরও জানান, ফায়ার সার্ভিসের সদস্যরা আগুন নিয়ন্ত্রণে কাজ করছেন। তাৎক্ষণিকভাবে আগুন লাগার কারণ জানা যায়নি। তবে এখন পর্যন্ত কোনো হতাহত বা বড় ধরনের ক্ষয়ক্ষতির খবর পাওয়া যায়নি বলে জানিয়েছে কর্তৃপক্ষ।
