First meeting of new cabinet Monday

The first cabinet meeting of the new government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be held on Monday (January 15). The meeting is scheduled to take place at 10am at the Prime Minister's Office in Tejgaon.

Minister of Public Administration Farhad Hossain confirmed it to the media on Sunday.

According to reliable sources, the main agenda of the first meeting will be the exchange of mutual greetings. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will preside over the meeting and provide directions for the future course of action for the new cabinet members.

It is noteworthy that after the landslide victory of the Awami League in the 12th National Parliament elections held on January 7, Sheikh Hasina was sworn in as the prime minister on January 11, forming a new government. The cabinet consists of 25 ministers and 11 state ministers, excluding the prime minister.
