Five CMP police stations get new OCs as seven officers reshuffled

Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has reshuffled seven police inspectors, appointing new officers-in-charge (OCs) to five police stations across the city.

CMP Commissioner Hasan Mohammad Shawkat Ali issued an office order on Sunday (August 24), making the changes effective immediately.

Under the order, CT-SB Inspector Abdur Rahim has been appointed OC of Khulshi Police Station. The station's incumbent OC, Mozammel Haque, has been transferred to Panchlaish Police Station, replacing Zahedul Islam.

Zahedul Islam has been transferred to the city's Special Branch (CT-SB).

Meanwhile, Inspector Nur Ahmed has been appointed OC of Karnaphuli Police Station, Ikhtiar Uddin as OC of Bayezid Bostami Police Station, Zainal Abedin Mondal as OC of Halishahar Police Station and Ekram Ullah as OC of Sadarghat Police Station.

The transferred officers have been directed to join their new workplaces immediately.
