Five police officers transferred

Five police officers holding the ranks of additional and assistant superintendent of police have been transferred. Among them, one has been transferred to Sylhet District Police and four to the Special Branch (SB) of police.

The information was disclosed in a notification signed on Thursday by Additional DIG Md Rayhan Uddin Khan of the Personnel Management-1 branch of Police Headquarters.

According to the notification, Md Manzurul Alam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Sylhet Metropolitan Police (SMP), has been transferred to Sylhet district as an additional superintendent of police.

Besides, Tania Sultana Eva, assistant superintendent of police at the Police Staff College, has been transferred to a Police Training Centre. A N M Niamat Ullah, assistant superintendent of police of Hakimpur Circle in Dinajpur, has been transferred as assistant superintendent of police (SB), Dhaka.

Meanwhile, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Assistant Police Commissioners Md Abu Hasan and Abdullah Al Mamun have been transferred to the Special Branch as assistant superintendents of police.

The notification said the order, issued in the public interest, will take effect immediately.
