Flight operations resume at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport
Flight operations have resumed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The operations began at 9 pm on Saturday (October 18), said airport authorities.
Authorities said that a flight of the United Arab Emirates-based airline Fly Dubai, which departed from Dubai for Dhaka, has landed at Shahjalal International Airport.
Earlier, the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism said in a notification that a fire broke out at the Cargo Village of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 2:15 pm. The fire was brought under complete control with the quick and coordinated action of the fire service and the airport authorities.
No casualties were reported in the incident. Close coordination is being done with the fire service and the airport authorities to ensure that the fire is completely.
