FM Hasan Mahmud to discuss Myanmar issue during India visit

Foreign Minister Dr. Hasan Mahmud said discussions will be held on Myanmar issues during his visit to India, where he is scheduled to meet with the foreign minister, commerce minister, and security advisor of the country.

He said this during a press briefing at the ministry on Tuesday.

He further said that, "We have always sought cooperation from India. Regarding the repatriation of those forcibly displaced from Myanmar, India's assistance has been sought by us long ago. Therefore, these issues will naturally be discussed."

In addition to this, regarding the claim of BNP about the situation at the Myanmar border due to the government's new policy, Hasan Mahmud said, "Is there a conflict between the Arakan Army and the Myanmar military there due to the government's policy? In fact, Rizvi's statement is nothing but the delirium of a madman.
