Foreign Adviser meets Bhutanese PM in Dhaka
Foreign Affairs Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain met with Bhutanese Prime Minister Shering Tobgay at Hotel InterContinental in Dhaka on Saturday (November 22), the Press Wing of the Adviser’s office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed.
Details of their discussions are yet to disclose.
Prime Minister Tobgay arrived in Dhaka on a two-day state visit Saturday morning and was welcomed at the airport with a red-carpet reception by Chief Adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus. A brief meeting was held in the VIP lounge, after which Tobgay paid respects at the National Martyrs’ Memorial in Savar.
Later, at 3.00pm, he will hold a private meeting with Dr. Muhammad Yunus at the Adviser’s office in Tejgaon, followed by a formal dinner in his honour in the evening.
