Four senior police officials transferred

Four senior Bangladesh Police officials have been transferred and given new postings, according to a notification issued by the Public Security Division of the Home Ministry on Sunday (September 20).

The notification, signed by Deputy Secretary Tawsif Ahmed on behalf of the president, said Bagerhat Superintendent of Police (SP) Hasan Mohammad Naser Rikabdar has been transferred to the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) as a deputy commissioner.

Chuadanga SP Mohammad Ruhul Kabir Khan has also been transferred to the DMP as a deputy commissioner.

Meanwhile, Police Headquarters SP Md Zamirul Islam has been appointed as the new SP of Bagerhat, while Special Branch SP Mehedi Shahriar has been posted as Chuadanga SP.

The order, issued in the public interest, will take effect immediately.
