The recent reports claiming that Professor Dr. Yunus, Chief Adviser of the Interim Government, would hold a press conference at Ganabhaban regarding the revival program of the July mass uprising are false.

This was confirmed on Monday through a post on the verified Facebook account of Abul Kalam Azad Mozumdar, Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser. In his statement, Mozumdar clarified, “The Chief Adviser will not hold any press conference at Ganabhaban today. The news circulating in some media outlets is incorrect.”

Earlier on Monday, several media sources reported that the Chief Adviser would address a press conference at Ganabhaban, citing Foyez Ahammad, Senior Assistant Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, as the source. The reports suggested that the press conference would focus on the program to revive the July mass uprising.

However, the Deputy Press Secretary’s statement has categorically denied these claims, confirming that no such press conference is scheduled.
