Gazette published for 474 'July Fighters'

The government has published a gazette recognising 474 individuals as 'July Fighters' in a redefined category from among the seriously injured in the July Mass Uprising 2024.

The information was given in a notification issued by the Gazette Branch of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs.

The notification mentions that under the powers conferred upon the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs by clause 11(4) of the Ordinance for the Welfare and Rehabilitation of Families of Martyrs and July Fighters of the July Mass Uprising, 2025 (Ordinance No. 30, 2025), the gazette is published recognising individuals injured in the July Mass Uprising 2024 as 'July Fighters' in a redefined category. They are in Class-'B' (seriously injured).

The notification further states that this order has been issued with the approval of the competent authority.
