Dhallywood's much-discussed and critically acclaimed actress Pori Moni has been accused of torturing her domestic worker. Pori Moni has been accused of beating up her domestic worker over the issue of feeding her one-year-old daughter. In this incident, the victim Pinky Akhter has filed a general diary (GD) with Dhaka's Bhatara Police Station. Bhatara Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md Mazharul Islam confirmed to the media that she had filed the GD on Thursday (April 3). He said there have been allegations of torture against a domestic worker at the house of actress Pori Moni. The domestic worker has filed a GD with the police station in this regard. We are investigating the matter.

ঢালিউডের আলোচিত-সমালোচিত চিত্রনায়িকা পরীমনির বিরুদ্ধে গৃহকর্মী নির্যাতনের অভিযোগ উঠেছে। পরীমনি নিজের এক বছরের মেয়ে সন্তানকে খাবার খাওয়ানোকে কেন্দ্র করে গৃহকর্মীকে মারধর করেন বলে অভিযোগ উঠেছে তার বিরুদ্ধে। এ ঘটনায় ভুক্তভোগী পিংকি আক্তার ঢাকার ভাটারা থানায় একটি সাধারণ ডায়েরি (জিডি) করেছেন। বৃহস্পতিবার (৩ এপ্রিল) তিনি এই জিডি করেন বলে গণমাধ্যমে নিশ্চিত করেছেন ভাটারা থানার অফিসার ইনচার্জ (ওসি) মো. মাজহারুল ইসলাম। তিনি বলেন, চিত্রনায়িকা পরীমনির বাসার এক গৃহকর্মীকে নির্যাতনের অভিযোগ উঠেছে। এ বিষয়ে ওই গৃহকর্মী থানায় একটি জিডি করেছে। বিষয়টি আমরা তদন্ত করে দেখছি।
