Government appoints three new secretaries

The government has appointed new secretaries to the Ministry of Agriculture and the Public Division of the President’s Office as part of a fresh administrative reshuffle.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued separate notifications on Monday (August 10) announcing the appointments.

According to the notifications, Md Selim Khan, an additional secretary at the Agriculture Ministry, has been promoted and appointed secretary of the same ministry.

Meanwhile, Rafiqul I Mohammad, who had been serving as the Agriculture Ministry’s contractual secretary, has been transferred and appointed secretary (contractual) of the Public Division of the President’s Office.

Khan Md Nurul Amin, who had been serving as secretary of the President’s Office Public Division, has been transferred and attached to the Ministry of Public Administration as an attached secretary.

The appointments take effect immediately, according to the government orders.
