Government orders use of Nazrul Year logo in all official letters
The Cabinet Division has directed all ministries to use the designated logo of the 'Nazrul Year' in all official correspondence until May 25, 2027.
A directive was issued on Sunday (July 26), sending letters to all senior secretaries and secretaries of ministries and divisions, divisional commissioners, deputy commissioners (DCs) and all Upazila Executive Officers (UNOs).
The letter said the government has declared the period from May 25 this year to May 25 next year as the 'Nazrul Year'. On this occasion, the Prime Minister unveiled the designated logo for the 'Nazrul Year' on July 2.
It further said the Ministry of Cultural Affairs had requested that the designated logo be used in all official correspondence until May 25, 2027, as part of the commemoration of the 'Nazrul Year' with due dignity, and in an effort to uphold the ideals, spirit and works of the national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam in the nation's actions and thoughts.
The Cabinet Division issued the directive following that request, the letter stated.
