Law Minister Md Asaduzzaman has said the government will take a decision on the Mecca agreement considering everything. He said India will work according to their foreign policy, Bangladesh will also take decision according to their own policy.

He said these in reply to questions of journalists after the reception programme of meritorious students of Jhenaidah Collectorate School and College in the morning on Saturday (August 29).

The law minister said India will run like India, Bangladesh will run like Bangladesh. The government will take a decision on the Mecca agreement considering the interest of the country.

When asked about the law and order situation the law minister said whether the government is satisfied with the law and order situation is not the main issue. The government is working tirelessly to keep the law and order situation normal.

At this time he also informed that the government and the Ministry of Law are working on the introduction of e-judiciary for the digitalisation of the judiciary.

At the programme under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Md Noman Hossain, political assistant to the Prime Minister Rashed Khan was present as special guest. Besides, district BNP president MA Majid, general secretary Jahiduzzaman Mona, vice-president Munshi Kamal Azad Pannu, joint general secretary Abdul Majid Biswas, general secretary of Shailkupa upazila BNP Humayun Babar Firoz and leaders and activists of BNP and affiliated organisations were present.
