Govt issues July Charter implementation gazette

The government has issued the National July Charter Constitutional Reform Implementation Order 2025.

On Thursday November 13, the Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs published a gazette in this regard.

Earlier the same day, President Md Shahabuddin signed the July Charter Implementation Order.
The order was first approved at the advisers’ council meeting held on Thursday November 13.

Through this order, the proposed constitutional reforms will now be placed in a public referendum.
The referendum will seek public opinion on the reforms finalised through discussions among political parties under the mediation of the National Consensus Commission.
