The Ministry of Foreign Affairs does not have information on whether Sheikh Hasina has taken Indian citizenship, said Mohammad Rafiqul Alam, Director General and Spokesperson of the Public Diplomacy Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He said that the status of Sheikh Hasina in India is a matter under consideration of the government of that country.

He gave this information at the weekly media briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday (January 16).

Demands are being raised to review all types of agreements with India. When asked about this, the spokesperson said that bilateral agreements with India have been made with various ministries and organizations. If any ministry and organization feels the need to review, it can do so.

When asked whether all agreements made with India will be published, the spokesperson said, "All the agreements made with India have been published. You can see them by going to the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India."

In response to another question, the spokesperson said, "I do not know whether there are secret agreements with India."

When asked if the country is delaying in approving Bangladesh's proposed High Commissioner to India, the spokesperson said, "The appointment process takes two to four months. It will be done as per the process."
